Episode 2.10: To Thine Own Self Be True

11/14 - Although she is conflicted about whether or not she can forgive her mother for all the pain she has caused, Kelly continues to support Silver as she deals with Jackie's declining health. Navid confronts Adrianna about her drug use. Harry and Debbie are surprised when Annie informs them she would like to invite Jasper (guest star Zach Sherman) over for dinner. Dixon, still upset with Debbie over her handling of the Sasha (guest star Mekia Cox, who does not appear in the episode) situation, declines to join them. Dixon, Ivy and Navid devise a plan for Liam to tell Naomi the truth about Jen. Ryan and Jen's relationship is taken to an entirely new level when he convinces her to go on a weekend camping trip. Naomi and Jamie's (guest star Travis Van Winkle, "Meet the Spartans") make out session is interrupted by Richard (guest star Jonathon Trent, "CSI: NY") and his mom, forcing Naomi to come clean about her plans to get accepted into CU. 09/27 - The war pitting Naomi vs. Annie will continue on 90210 through the tenth episode of the season when Naomi's scheming sister Jen finally faces the music for claiming it was Annie, not Jen, who slept with Liam in last May's season finale. "We're about to shoot the deterioration of Jen's façade of being such a wonderful big sister," AnnaLynne McCord tells me. "Then they'll finally be an opportunity for Liam and Naomi to get back together. You might also see Naomi's conscience come out. 11/01 - A character will be experimenting with her sexuality this season on 90210, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Recurring guest star Rumer Willis, who plays the lesbian character Gia, will bring out a new romantic side in Adrianna. A relationship will unfold for the pair in an episode slated for January. "This isn't a fling," executive producer Rebecca Sinclair told Entertainment Weekly. "We're coming at this from a genuine place and not going, 'Let's do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.' This is a real aspect of teenager life that's interesting ... And there's been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters." [...] Kelly Lynch has signed on to 90210 to play a new love interest to English teacher Ryan Matthews, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Lynch will play Laurel, a fortysomething, pot-smokin' hottie who has a whirlwind romance with Matthews (Ryan Eggold). She has quite a history under her belt, as evidenced by her colorful stories about various rock stars and celebrities. There is, of course, more to Laurel than at first appears. 10/24 - Laurel Sullivan: Female, Caucasian, Late 30s-early 40s. A true California libertine. She believes in free love, the environment, the power of music, legalized marijuana, and her daughter Ivy, whom she sees as her greatest triumph. Once a radical Berkley student whose goal was to sleep with all the Rolling Stones, Laurel is now an enormously successful music producer. Laurel is outrageously rich but she despises the normal trappings of wealth. She wouldn't be caught dead in fur or a private plan or carrying some designer handbag. For her it's all about turquoise and beat up blue jeans and a maybe a leather jacket from East West Musical Instruments. Laurel lives in a sprawling home in Topanga Canyon which at all times is filled with various boyfriends and other visitors -- musicians, a traveling Native American Shaman, yoga instructors, ex-Weathermen, and artists. She loves to write and sing and paint and drink and smoke and have sex . Laurel is creative and loving and a hell of a lot of fun but also selfish and irresponsible and immature. 10/04 - We caught Matt Lanter (Liam) and Michael Steger (Navid) at I Fly Hollywood just before they tried some indoor skydiving, and the twosome chatted about the [DJ-to-the-stars Samantha Ronson]'s upcoming guest spot. "Liam's trying to talk Navid into going over and talking to some girls and Samantha chimes in. It was fun. She's cool," said Matt. Plus, it was a surprise for the cast. "She was in the script under some other character's name," explains Michael, "and then the day of, Samantha Ronson showed up." [...] Michael couldn't stop raving about the cool episode setup for both Sam and musical guest Pharrell Williams. "She played a DJ over at Edison Bar in Los Angeles, and Pharrell actually performed that night. It was awesome," said the star. As for Liam's always-uncertain future with Naomi, Matt is hopeful. "There's going to be many more ups and downs, a roller coaster of problems. Me and AnnaLynne want it to happen-we want Liam and Naomi to get back together, so hopefully they're working on it." Don't get too excited just yet, tubers. Newcomer Gillian Zinser is joining the cast soon, and her presence won't make it easy for Liomi.
